Post subject: | HP/move stats |
Hello, I have recently created a mercenary centaur. I now have maximum con, dex, and str. Having never created many non-casting class before, I'm not sure what HP and move do. I couldn't find anything in the help files. And I'm also not sure what sort of other stats a centaur merc would need. Thank you for your help. |

HP is also known as durability. You want it. Movement is PE. You get enough of it from just leveling, and endurance regens PE like crazy anyways. |

HP increases the size of your HP pool, it's likely advisable to put it into HP, unless you're planning on joining certain affiliations which may change that, I suggest you figure out what direction you're taking the character and decide from there. |

Do NOT train move. Ever. Maxing hp is typical for mercenaries, but depending on the faction you're going for, it might not be feasible. Charisma is important for anyone in a tribunal or in the hammer of light. Training intelligence and wisdom is not uncommon, depending on what faction you go for. |

Train hp or wis, hands down. |

Wrong, if joining certain groups CHA is key. Also with griffon scouts, and I would assume other griffons of a certain organization Move is a good idea. |

Charisma is important if you join a tribunal because it will allow you to order certain tribunal guards that you otherwise couldn't. It will also decrease the lag you experience after giving an order. Charisma is also essential for any melee class in the Hammer of Light (unless you are a griffon, but you're not), but it is against the rules to discuss why here, so you'll have to take my word for it. I also really like having wisdom high, either naturally or with mods. In the limited testing I've done, it will help out a ton when resisting charm person, which is the most devastating and OP spell in the game. Also, if you join a cabal that has a spell you want to hold, wisdom will help you hold it longer. |

CHA is useful if you want to join a tribunal or some certain cabals. I suggested HP or WIS hands down because you're a new player, and -regardless- of where you end up with your character those will always be useful. HP because it gives you more HPs and you live longer, and WIS because it increases your mana (rallying cry/cabal spells) and more importantly, your will save. |
