Hi all,

I'm new to SK after being informed of it's existence by a family member.

I feel that I must have over looked the answer to my question somewhere but I cannot figure out how to load my newly saved character.

Thank you.

Everything is based on the name of your character.

Simply choose the same name and password, and you'll be fine.

There are instances where your character can be deleted, including limited use, though.

The "save" command in game is not something you generally need to worry about, but if that's what you were curious about, don't worry -- it is automatic.

Welcome aboard and have fun!

So basically, I just connect as I originally did and type the character's name and password, as if I was creating a new character again?

Edit:

Okay I see that this is the case. Thank you very much.

No problem, glad you got back in!

Your character is 'saved' at regular intervals, so you should never usually have to worry about finding a Save Point or anything like that.

The only exception is for unexpected game crashes, but those are fewer and farther between with each code update.

Welcome back!

You can also manually type 'save' and it will save you, although it is pretty useless as your character will be saved at regular intervals like grep said, also when you quit it auto saves.

Save is useful for other things.

Hehe, I remember the days when I got the message although displeased by the interruption the Gods record your present form and I actually thought that I was annoying the immortals with my command. :P
