Help needed on eye washer from supply shop

Hello, I bought some eye washers from multiple shops, I have tried to use them during and off-combat, I have tried the commands: "use eye", "rinse", "rinse eye", "wash", "wash eye", "rinse self", "wash self", when my character has dirt in the eyes, and I have asked multiple characters in the game, one suggested rinse, most don't know how to get this to work. Can we get some help?

Having never actually used one, this advice probably isn't the best in the world, but are you grabbing it in one hand while trying to use it? I feel pretty confident you have to do that.

Oh yes I meant to write that in the first post but I forgot to mention it. I have tried both, wielding it in one hand, and not wielding it, just having it in the inventory, then tried all the aforementioned commands both ways.

I'm pretty sure you have to be wielding it, and you can only use it out of combat.

If i'm thinking right the command should be "use". I'll do tests in just a second to confirm that.

And those wielding a 2 handed weapon are screwed over cause you can't see to remove weapon and then wield the eye washer. Be useful if the item could be used while in your inventory too.

Well, I never knew that items was in the game, but it really does seem like I nice item.

However, it REALLY should not have to be equipped. Food/drinks/pots/herbs can all be used from your inventory and I see no difference here. I can especially see the handiness of this item for the lower noobie ranks, because if I think they probably spend more time waiting to get dirt out of their eyes than they do waiting for anything else.

Maybe we'll get lucky and see a change in one of these many updates we've been getting.

Not having to equip the eye washers to use them would drastically nerf most warrior classes and give a huge buff to casters, though it would make for more interesting logs.

I think two possibilities would make it much more usable,
One, like others said - Make it usable from the inventory.
Two, change the slot its used. Make it a necklace or something.

Just make it so you cant use it in combat to keep it reasonably balanced (I dont know if you can or not already)
