Just curious if accuracy only affects whether you hit or miss, or if it plays a role in finding chinks in protection with ranged weapons. In other words, will it increase damage against heavy armor opponents? |

Bows only affect accuracy/speed and arrows affect accuracy/speed/damage |

I was thinking more along the lines of accuracy enchants added to a bow. I'm not really too concerned about what accuracy affects as much as how it affects ranged combat. So far, I haven't seen much of a difference with or without accuracy enchants on a bow, both in terms of piercing/dmg as well as hit/miss chance from the testing I did today. |

Enchantments affect everything. |

Right, so will accuracy enchants make the bow more accurate in ranged attack, melee bow attack or both? And does accuracy have a piercing effect? Not sure if you are trolling me at this point. |

A good rule of thumb is to never listen to any mechanics information Muktar tells you ever. I can't positively answer this question because I've never seriously played a ranged-based character that wasn't a caster, but I know that a few mechanics-savvy players have and I'd await their input. Muktar is not one of them, however. Just have a little patience. Someone who knows will eventually answer you with correct information. |

Not trolling you, enchantments affect everything, melee/ranged with the bow. afaik, no but someone might have more info on that. |

I was also going to post that Muktar is not an especially credible source. I've never played range and do not know the answer to your question. It is probably something that has not been tested by the pbase, and you'd need an IMM to answer the question or you'd have to dig up an old post where it is answered. |
