So does the damage of a weapon or the damage reduction of armor affected by the state that the item is in? For example, does a dagger (good) do less damage the same dagger (brand new)? The same for armor? My gut tells me yes, but I don't know. |

Yes. If the brittleness or hardness stats of an item are decreased then it does decrease the effectiveness of an item. It doesn't really become an issue until the item is down to good quality though. I tend to do repairs around very good, though. |
