I voted no.

Just because something is more IC doesn't make it better for the mud.

At times like this, the OOC considerations like the law system and the potential for unbalance and abuse preclude the more IC lack of identification.

Whatever. I didn't even read this thread because it is likely garbage but I voted no, just because I think polymorph is fine as it is.

I said no, unless disguise gives the same law immunity...

[sarcasm] Think about it, a cloaked, disguised figure steps out of the shadows to shove a dagger down a unaware low-hp person's back, he dies instantly, and the assasin quaff a potion of recall. How would this three second event be remembered by everyone in there and perfectly know who the killer was. [/sarcasm]

I still said no.

In theory, you are right. I don't think you should be able to be arrested if you are wanted and wandering the streets as a housecat.

I also think if you are in disguise there should be some kind of check as to whether or not law NPCs can see through it. Sort of like breaking sanc, only it's breaking disguise if you will.

But, I've been around a while and I know the game and I know the way things work, it makes sorcerers to strong and it reduces the power of an untra elite cabal spell. Basically it unbalances the game so the anwer will be no.

I voted no.

Like everyone else pretty much said, it makes one cabal's main power common. Everyone would be running around polymorphed before city raids and overall, it'd just cause more confusion.

Anyhow, thats just my two cents.
