Just for the hell of it:

You cannot persuade while you are in combat.

I know exactly what I'm talking about but apparently you did not read my entire statement. I said I couldn't recall if I was taking hits or not when my group was fighting. Apparently I wasn't, but that is because when I played a bard I wasn't dumb enough to not have a pet or NPC tank for me. If you want to use persuade that badly just have an abundance of ethereal scrolls like I did then your life shall be much easier.

Bards are not tanks, and should not be played as one. You should always have something infront of you so you can use all your skills while your group is fighting, end of story.

Of course they need a tank. I never said they didn't, although you made it sound like that wasn't the case. Anywho, unless you plevel to GM under 50hrs? Then you will have to be in a position to do damage. Not in front but in a position to do damage. I would agree that they should not be put in combat during group v group pk. I would have to throw out a Good Job to the players of the MC as of late. They have made the game fun by doing Group v Group pk.
