If your not willing to do the time don't do the crime. How fair would it be if you went and killed a PC then was arrested for it only to not spend a single tick in the jail.

Dude. Normally I'm all respectful and stuff, but please, FFS, STFU.

Hours in jail is epic. If everyone went around in SK obeying the law and crap, the game would be very similar to a non PVP mud. It'd also be very boring. As it stands, the punishment for a character murder (a half hour in jail) is quite intense.

Haven't you ever PK'd someone in a lawful city?
If you haven't, I'm going to lol to death.

Tryagainsk2.

Your logic is a little flawed, one.
Two, get off Dulrik's balls man. Someone who spends time to make a free game for everyone doesn't deserve the rapid fire insults silly little people like you are so prepared to dish out.

The law system is lame; I agree.
And I don't agree with everything Dulrik does--I probably disagree with more than you do.

His statement indicated 'preferential conditions of killing characters'. So if he says 'kill hoarders' you know how he'd prefer you to do it. This doesn't indicate hypocrisy.

This game doesn't have 'unrestricted pk'. Are you on drugs? Although some people are lame and PK as the jail-murderer did is this thread's example, this is not the norm or tolerated. That's one restriction right there. RP.

Unlawful people break laws, by the way. Not evil people necessarily. Law versus Chaos is the conflict you allude to, not Good versus Evil. Plenty of good people commit crimes for reasons all their own--even some relatively lawful people will commit crimes, and heinous ones at that.

And if you shank a prisoner, depending on where you are, there's hell to pay. This has gotten some prisoners life sentences. Or time in the 'box'.

Guess you never been to Uxmal then. There are also other places to go PK I am sure you know. Almost EVERYONE in the game goes to Uxmal.

If you are still have a problem about hours in jail either join a tribunal and PK to your hearts content there or get chummy with a trib leader so you can be pardoned its called RP.

Also a half hour in jail? Are you saying you cannot wait the time it takes to get a pizza delivered or watch a TV show to kill the time? For some people it takes hours to get back their equipment.

I have a few times, never really had the yen to PK. To me PK nowadays translates to a large group of people attacking one or a few people.

Ah, so you're suggesting "not playing" while logging in to "play" a game. Excellent logic there, Kerrien. Bravo.

I meant watch the show on your computer while at the same time have the game open, typing who every once and a while till the person you want to send a tell to gets on. Then close the other window and play the game.
