Keep a giant barbarian behind you at all times, then rogues can complain about giant barbarians being in the second row.

Rogues get trashed by intimidate, blind/dirt kicking, the "combat nerves" state, and yes, having a guy behind you. They have trouble fighting on their own unless they have the complete drop on the enemy (how rogue-like!) or are in a tribunal where they can hide behind a good NPC. Unlike many other classes, when tactically bad things happen to rogues they don't just get an accuracy penalty or anything... it generally means that the rogue will be dead useless for a decent portion (if not the entire) battle.

In the past few years I have seen no abusive rogue PvP sprees. In fact even before rogues WERE nerfed in terms of backstab, back in the days of the 2-handed ritual spider and all that business, it wasn't super common.

Of late the only [REDACTED] I've witnessed is people spamming charm scrolls.

Right, but the main point is that you never got me either in those twenty tries :).

Though I did die to circle stab after chasing whoever gathered your corpse out into the cursed wood. Fun times.

That would be me :)
