I'm pretty sure that if you try to go up against any boss NPCs, though, you're going to get screwed. Also, I know theres atleast one NPC there that does a pretty crucial room spell and one of the groups I took there had half of it's members killed fighting it - this wasn't a boss NPC, either.

then why not take 10 minutes out of your play time to throw 5 enchants on a piece of your EQ? In a week you will have a suit that won't be awesome, but enough to keep you alive. Then you can go explore those place with people when they ask.


Dude, of course I have 5 enchants on my gear. At least on my main. It's definitely still not enough, and no one ever asks me anyway.

Oh.

I don't SK everyday. I have a pretty taxing job, and a lot going on in general with a baby on the way and a new house. My suit is enchanted well anyway, but I'm never going to be the sort of person who spends an hour to get ten specific types of an enchantment on one piece of armor. Ever. That's called grinding, and I don't do it.

I play SK for fun. Fun would be exploring the Dreamscape. Grinding would be having to have a perfect suit/perfect group to do so without dying.


Then every time you log in or something.

You could always go die and then explore the outer terrain as a ghost.

This is how I learned the outer planes inside out and backwards. If you are a shaman or something with a lot of mana you can explore indefinately.
