Yeah, that would be way too OP, for the reason that Jhorleb already stated. You don't get to have your cake and eat herbs too.

I've never trained it because I thought it was a completely useless skill, because I was under the impression that it actually caused lag.

If it doesn't, it should: suppression should be a full tick (fast effects system) high mana-cost self-induced paralyzing action during which other players can cast spells on the barbarian.


That way an MR barb can be a viable addition to group PK without becoming a completely dominant individual.

I could potentially see a tribunal MR barb that stands second row and orders his guard of choice to quaff/eat. But then again, that sort of defeats the purpose of playing a barb.
