It could be a mechanical benefit if you are a deep-elf and want to disguise yourself but don't want to lose your elite int. It's kind of a minor benefit though.

Disguise is one of the best pvp skills in the game.

I just wanted to mention that because it didn't seem that it was clear to everyone.
