So MsPooperTrooper got me to play a few games of halo with her in the past few days, and I thought, wow, ranged combat is really weak. That's when I thought, man, it's totally awesome that I can two round people, it'd be even more awesome if I could one round them. But then I was like what if all headshots were auto-kills like in every FPS I've ever played?

This would be awesome, and should be implemented immediately.

Dunno about instant kills, but death from headshot should have a chance of permanently lowering the character's max int score. Possibly deleting pfile, too.

I support this idea. I think the basic premise of SK only really makes sense if we assume that the world in itself is actually run, governed and maintained by a race of pan-dimensional hyper intelligent beings for their own experimentation and entertainment. By that logic we must conclude that different forms of resurrection has to be them cloning our bodies, and then re-implanting an uploaded image of our consciousness into that body. Which in turn makes headshots having a chance of deleting a players pfile make perfect sense seeing as how the instant download that happens in preparation for re-upload would risk being interrupted - thus not enabling return to life.

That's exactly the line of reasoning I was following.
