When did NPCs start attacking your pets to get around sanctuary?

I haven't seen this, and that doesn't sound nice... Maybe a side effect of the new "you're-in-combat" code?

No idea, I walk into a room of undead, they hit my sanc then after like two tries attack my mount to drag me into the fight. with a room full of 8 undead I am fighting them all in a matter of a couple rounds and my mount is dead.

I don't get it. If they attack your pet, they just broke sanctuary.

This is always how NPCs have worked. They have a random chance of picking a different member of the group each time they bounce off of sanctuary. (You'll see this in action in the wastelands most often, if you ever walk around)

If you have sanctuary, and a NPC tries to target you, then if he succeeds against your personal sanctuary check, he will hit you unless he cannot reach you. If he cannot reach you, he will hit whatever is in front of you without any other sanctuary checks, even if the person in front of you has sanctuary.

The same is true if you have no sanctuary and your pet does. A NPC which aggros you will never bounce off of your pets' sanctuary.

I am riding my pet. Ride into a room of zombies. All the zombies hit my sanc like three times. Then one by one they start hitting my mount I am riding.

Like I said if it's part of the code I have never noticed it before.

Probably a script on that area to attack all non-undead.
