It wasn't intended to be barbed or snide. I simply presented the fact that the creator, sole coder, and final say of the game is looking for and steadily implementing ways to encourage greater cooperation among players and that he's unlikely to consider suggestions that make more autonomous characters, especially if there is a considerable time sink involved with coding.

I'm not entirely sure how I could have coated that reality to taste sweeter going down. I thought I was just offering a clear and concise explanation of why the suggestion is likely to be overlooked, but I do apologize to maxman and other readers if I was less than kind in my response.

Then I apologize for reading it in that way. The last line came across as a jab, but I was wrong. All good, I love you, don't be mad at me please :3

I do think that allowing an improved degree of autonomy is desirable, though. As with all things, the best possible result is from a PC (as it should be), but scripted identify for items below a certain level is a very reasonable request, I feel.

At least you can still GM and fully equip a sorcerer without ever interacting with another PC, and probably in under 50 hours. The other classes probably not so much.

edit: never mind they can't enchant for damage on weapons now.
