Noticed some NPCs can do this. I thought it would make an interesting skill to add to swashies maybe since they could use something extra. Something minor but kinda cool and unique for the class. Thoughts?

Not sure what you mean. A single NPC can dirt twice in a single round of combat? Maybe I get hit with dirt too frequently.
