You mean like charm person, Mcbeth? At least you cannot persuade PCs to delete. :drunk:

Anyway, OA, my point was that Dulrik says this hasn't been intentionally changed recently. It would stand to reason that your past experiences with persuade should not be entirely unlike the ones mentioned by OP.

Charm person doesn't work on enchanted PCs with any reliability (any more).
