I sort of had this idea on the way home from work...

So, every religion has their own individual subforum in which to work out their religious details, organize religious events et cetera.

Why not make a similar boards for the shamans? I mean, they are a sort of religious class as well, just not of the "Big Gods".

Within that board shamans can organize (if they wish) into Shamanic Lodges, write up some shamanic traditions for each kingdom and generally use them exactly like a Religion Board without the bank account and favor ratings.

Well?

Astral boards, not all shamans work together like the majority of a religion.

But it doesn't exactly hurt them to have a place to share IC and OOC. Plenty of religions are disorganized, yet they have boards and subforums.

I like this idea, personally, though there should be some sort of "opt-in" quest that would grant access to it.

I'm not at all opposed to this idea, but an IC quest to gain access to OOC forums? That sounds weird.

No weirder than joining a religion IC to gain access to an OOC forum.....

I can see merit in both approaches - Meissa's and Opey's.
The quest could be something akin to a religion's 'invest'. I wouldn't mind drafting up some ideas if you're up for it.

This is a code-level implementation. Let's hold off investing too much into it until we get some sort of nod from D.

The clear answer here is not to add more ooc boards but to remove the individual religion forums, move key history threads to the high followers board, and encourage use of in game religion boards to plan events.

Yeah, I'm more along this line of thinking as well.
