I am pretty sure that I have managed to perfect the email change process so that it transfers the LTs correctly. But it doesn't come up very often, so there might still be some unresolved edge cases.

So I was able to perfect the alerts.
I downloaded the iOS Outlook app. Logged in with my confirmed email address. I'm shown two inboxes. Focused and Other. I moved a sk email to Focused and was prompted to set a rule.
In this app, only sk emails are sent to the focused inbox. I set notifications to only be sent when there is a new email arriving in the focused inbox. It's working perfectly. I recommend it to anyone with an iPhone.

Thanks for the tip! If you are using Gmail, you can also set a filter to automatically apply a tag to mail with a subject that starts with '[SK'. This will keep it organized and also ensure that it does not get sent directly into your spam folder.
