 Post subject: Idea: New generic skill and transport option

I have given a little thought to this, but not spent too much time pondering it. If I have overlooked something quite obvious then I apologise.

New Skill: Sailing [generic to all classes]

This allow the player to utilise small forms of water transport. Rowing boats, canoes, Kayaks, barges, fishing boats.

It would be nice to have these dotted around the coast line and along rivers etc. Some for hire, some abandoned and anyone with the skill can use them to move about Pyrathia. This would open up new opportunities for travel along the waterways.

I know combat might be an issue with this.

I hope this isn't met with too much derision.

Actually, one of the features on my list back during alpha (13 years ago) really was "ship-to-ship combat". It just never makes it up the priority list.
