Defense / Accuracy is tossed to the wind for increased speed and damage.

Pros
- Greatly Increased Damage
- Increased Weapon Speed (Extra attack per round)

Cons
- Flee disabled
- Dodge disabled
- Shield Block disabled
- Parry disabled
- Decreased Defense
- Decreased Accuracy
- PE usage greatly increased

Extras:
If PE hits 0%, Barbarian passes out.
Locked on a single target until hey are dead, fled, or you die.
Will not die until health goes past negative -10%
- If health is in the negatives when the fight ends, Barbarian drops dead.

We already have stance aggressive which throws defense to the wind for increased damage. Stance is never going to give you an extra attack. People die quickly enough as it is.

Unfortunately I love this idea. But mood aggressive is way to strong as it is compared to mood defensive. The benifits of being aggressive over neutral are far greater then the benifits of going defensive over neutral.

Aggressive is also better then neutral. As far as i'm concerned unless Dulrik tones down mood aggressive there's really only one mood to be in. Mood aggressive if over powered.

Any plans on toning down melee damage a bit? The new prone changes have been in effect for a while now, and in my opinion melee damage is still to high.

I'm open to toning things down more. As mentioned here, mood aggressive may need some tweaking downward or at least higher penalties for using it so that it is more balanced with the other stances.

Also I still want to look into whether auto assist is possibly bugged. You really should only be getting one attack when you assist, not a whole round of attacks followed by your normal round of attacks.

The auto assist "bug" is on again off again lately.

Stances aside from aggressive are useless. I sent you quite a bit of testing data as far as stances go, Dulrik, even if they were purely from a defensive standpoint. On my next day off when I've got nothing better to do, and assuming I can ever get a couple of skills to mastered to make the baseline level across all stances, maybe I'll duplicate the tests for aggressive capabilities and show you that stance neutral and defensive have literally no benefit to anyone, even casters.

Aggressive doesn't need to be wimped. Neutral and defensive need to be boosted. Melee damage in general needs to be wimped, not the stance effects. The auto assist bug is not what makes melee overpowered. Solo warriors, who obviously wouldn't be taking advantage of the extra attacks, can still chew through pretty well anything in a few rounds. Earlier today I was taking tough challenge NPCs in, quite literally, three hits. And that was without the benefit of berserk, fury, specialize, or any other such bonus to damage/accuracy.

OA: As I recall, after you sent me the data last time, I found and fixed a bug involving defensive stance. I don't recall you sending data after that.

You found and fixed a bug in aggressive stance, which was, more specifically, a bug in the dodge skill that was causing it to fire more frequently in aggressive than in defensive.

I haven't sent data after that. I said that if I could ever get a couple of skills to mastered so that I would have a baseline that wouldn't be made invalid by skill improves, I'd send you a new set (focused on aggressive skills) once again proving that all stances other than aggressive are completely and totally useless. It's still as true today as when you found and "fixed" the dodge bug.
