When I found the eye washer item in game, I must say I was glad.
But I propose some changes for it , to make it more useful.
If you would like, pick the one that you find more appropriate.

Either someone could drop his weapon to the ground so he can use the eye washer
Or
A support member of the team could be rensponsible for the clean eyes of
others and be able to target the washer at one's eyes.

Syntax:
use washer
use washer <target>

Before anyone brings up any faults with the idea, I like it.

After all the smartypants tell me how it'll throw the balance of the game into chaos, I might not like it as much. But as of right now, I like the idea.

May I add that I favor the use of it strictly out of combat.
It would be impossible for use when any of those two participants are in combat.

Playing a designated eyeball washer would be so kinky. I like it.

Or just let it be used in your inventory and add one round of forced lag.

But then I really would like a lot more items to be usable while blind or in darkness.. . . . .

You're kidding right? Leveling is a joke if you compare it to what it used to be. There are still frustrating sides, but leveling is better than it was a few years ago.

I have a friend that disagrees with your assessment.

Though, granted, there are a ridiculous amount of areas now for the expees. Doesn't change the above still making it painful.

Easy is not mutually exclusive of painful/obnoxious.

Dirt kicking should be pretty low on the list of worries during leveling, imo. Maybe it was better off before it was on combat ticks? It's still not waiting for magical blindness to wear off though.

I do like the idea for more functionality to eyeball washing. Careful with those things though, some people will mug you for them. :P
