Ok, so...

If mana helps the mana pool and art helps the spell power, is this transferable for bards?

Songs use the mana pool, if I put into mana, that gives me more to sing with - aggressive songs that is - and art would help the spell power?

Thanks!

art really doesn't do much for bards, except improve scrolls. I"ve played mine for over 600 hours and the most used song, (Sleep) is straight up not able to be resisted. It takes affect immediately. It does improve it, but only on songs like Silence, Dancing etc. The other songs, protection, war, healing etc aren't improved at all by art so all in all, unless you plan on heavily using scrolls, I'd say art is useless. (My bard has max art and songs of dancing rarely if ever work. Songs of silence is quite reliable.)

I'd actually advocate a mana train or two if you go that route. In prolonged fights, unless you have some way to refresh your mana, you'll find sleep and silence songs really drain you pretty quickly. However, that's up to you. Those are just my observations though.

art will only affect songs of silence, and scrolls. Everything else doesn't have a save.

Imo you have soooo many stats you have to max as a bard that art should be the very last one, perhaps out of mentor points. Mana... I would rather bank a mentor point than use it for mana train :P If you have spare train points use them on wisdom instead of mana, it gives extra mana plus very cool willpower saves :)

as far as wisdom goes, you can mod it. training mana increases your regen, which considering bards use mana and dont get trance or meditation, there is nothing wrong with that!

I have seen songs of sleep resisted by Paddah. But overall songs, especially when dancing are very difficult to resist. Not sure if art helps with that or not; but I doubt you need to put your stat points there.

I think persuade is CHA vs. WIS+WP. I doubt art factors into the equation.
