People right now in the game are being voodoo'd, then seanced so that they cannot be resurrected while the people who had them voodoo'd go and grab their corpse. This seems like a complete misuse of the spell that is also improper because the spell itself has no save and cannot be prevented.
Up until this point I do not believe that the IMMs were aware of its use in this way, and I would love to see it changed.

This thread is similar to the "Sorcerers and I Win" that Syn posted earlier. The problem is not seance. The problem is voodoo. In any other situation, your loot is forfeit because the attacker is in the same room as the victim.
Voodoo won't suddenly become more balanced or fair if seance gets nerfed. Fix the problem - not the symptom.
