Shattered Kingdoms

Been around SK on and off for several years. Occasionally play a character for a few months at a time. However, I have never been to the Iron Citadel. Not even close. I've suggested it plenty of times but to no avail. Does anyone ever go there? Do the costs outweigh the benefits that much?

Viltrax's post on phat loot inspired this inquiry. A few years ago I had a rogue that was given a straight dagger from the place, though that's all i've seen or heard of from the elusive Iron Citadel.

I go there, but this area could definitely use some tweaks to the descriptions, and the color. It is so horribly colored.

Being one of the more experienced players, I was hoping you would chime in. Any other thoughts on why, perhaps, the area is relatively unexplored? I imagine taking the risk comes with some fairly unique items.

The risk is not worth the effort. That's pretty much true of all the high end areas. Although the infernal halberd is definitely worth it.

Also, it has puzzles where you have to pay attention to the room descriptions, and most people just will not figure the place out. I am fairly certain only Peso and I know how to get to the Grand General Infernal.

All-in-all, I think the biggest problem is that it is ugly as [REDACTED]. There are definitely a few items worth getting there, but the descriptions are meh.

Occupy Citadel anybody?

There are at least a few others who know how to reach the ggi.
