Basically the way I thought banishment worked was that, to banish a person, they had to have certain requirements met. PK'ing a person in a tribunal for example, vs pk'ing a person not in the tribunal.
Like for example, if you PK a Talon, they could banish you but if you pk'd someone in zhenshi that wasn't a talon, I thought you had to have more than 1 charge to be banished. A high murder vs low murder type thing.
The thing is, my character killed a person in a city who was not part of the tribunal and the tribunal leader banished my character. I was under the impression that killing 1 person, not associated with the tribunal of said city, wouldn't equate to banishment.
I already addressed this question above. When it was made to be not a crime to attack without stunning or killing a trib member, it was made so that it requires more than one NPC kill to be banished. A PC kill is high murder and is banish-worthy.
EDIT: The bolded portion also reads like this to me - [I wouldn't have followed through with the rp of my character or engaged in pk if I knew there was actual RISK involved. I just don't have the cojones to handle consequences to my actions.]
