It just seems a little odd that they are the only spell casters who DON'T get those skills.
I'll grant that they are a bit more martial than the others, but they kept "wands," "staves," and "brew". It stands to reason that they'd keep "scrolls" and "scribe".

No. Recharge for shamans seems more reasonable.

Warlocks should not get scribe. Brew is enough as far as creation skills go. Maybe give them access to scrolls, though. Prob not really necessary at the end of the day. Wands and staves are effective enough.

I've always thought that the spell casting classes (mages, priests, shamans) get either brew or scribe, and since the warlocks are the less scholarly mage class, it makes sense that they get the brew skill. I have no opinion about whether they should take scrolls though.

I think brew fits as warlocks have some healing capacity, but no class gets both brew and scribe. It would be funny if warlocks were the one to break that pattern.

Agreed. Warlocks are pretty darn awesome lookin'. Anyone with some game knowledge would powerhouse nicely having a Warlock whilst using scrolls. Personally, having brew, staves and wands? Tch! Thats insane, but logical...to be honest, Smoochy has only seen one Warlock, and he was a dwarf..

Not exactly sure how powerful they really can be, but with access to the wands and staves floating around, mayhaps they don't really require the use of scrolls. They should though, thinking about it..

Smoochy is beside herself~♫

With access to wands and staves I believe you get access to every spell in the game. The acceptation being cure plague. When it comes to item creation it. I was felt it was reasonably clear you ether got brew or scribe. The idea is give scribe to the people who get spells melee shouldnt get and give brew to those who get spells melee should have access too as far as I can understand it. Brew > scribe in most situations because their is no fail risk to quaff (for people who arnt MR stacking). Do you really want to see sorcerors and necromancers magma spraying people or priests. There is a method to the madness. I cant say I would enjoy warlocks that had easy access to etherealform (they still have access just not easy).

Warlocks already have the easiest access to etherealform, and they don't need scrolls or scribe.

Only thing that warlocks don't have and yet every other caster class does, is identify! Yes, I know it is in a wand but it is either almost always out of stock or prohibitively expensive
