Honestly, as unrealistic as it is a broader solution would be better than a tightly focused one on this. I'll agree with Gilgon even though it makes me want to wretch, this is what titles are for, and if we saw a who XXX function I'd love it if it just parsed the titles and gave you anything that came back.

Ultimate solution at least for me.

Yeah, I agree with Sklz agreeing with Gilgon. Though agreeing with either doesn't make me wretch uduely 8)

Anything beyond the existing cabals and tribunals is over-icing the cake and fragmenting an already fragmented playerbase. I'd rather see cabals and tribunals re-merged, but different topic.

Besides, player-run groups have always been informal, uncoded affairs, even when they have piggy-backed on the shoulders of pre-existing cabals, and all the more fun as a result of it.

But having the who command parse titles would be neat.

Then again, how would it know when to parse titles, and when instead to parse cabal, tribunal, religion, race, class, etc . . . ? All of which are much more useful than title to those that have access to the given parameters.

A seperate who command, perhaps. It would, after all, save on Zmud scripting effort and gagged spam.

I have to say reading the replies made me think a little, I agree with most of you on the parsing the who list thing...which would constitute as a pretty good system, less coding, but then again, I think there still should be player-groups available...but you need to RP alot to get it, like make a tribe...get people to join your tribe...your entire tribe leaves a city, etc. etc. then you can be 'official' or whatnot..((offtopic as it may be, it would be nifty if we could build our own houses....gather wood, make nails...etc. etc.)) ANYWAYS! thanks for the replies

This is a nice idea, and I like it, but there are too many other things that need to get done.

Junk all.
