This happened to me once with a container bought in Sith'a'niel that had never had any problems. I thought it was the fountain in Nerina but when I had that checked out, the fountain was fine. The container, which had never been poisoned before, was somehow poisoned while sitting in my inventory. I figured some meanie did it while I was at an inn, but I was told that this is not possible.

It's happened to me, frequently with water skins. I just pass it off as stagnant water that's been in a water skin for a couple of weeks or months, depending on your drinking habits.

It happened again, cast 'create water', fill the barrel, first sip - stagnant (poison)...

It's an RP event! The goddess of suffering has shown her power, and therefore you now create poisoned water.

how about trying this:
type 'cast 'detect poison''
type 'inventory' and look at your barrel
then type 'cast 'cure poison' <container>'

Voila! No more poison.

I've had containers cured of poison and had the caster tell me that it was not poisoned, then drank out of it and still suffer the effect of poison. It's either a bug, or something that Dulrik added. I'm guessing a bug.

:o
Varden said it wasn't him, but he also said he didn't have coodies.

Could there be coodies in the game now? Did Durlik introduce a nasty bug On Purpose, in the form of Varden Coodies?
