This is so a rant!

junk/full looting is a part of the game. It has been a part of the game for a long time. It is not going to change. QQ more!

Hrm... I guess I missread to first post. I personally have seen things after such attacks and lootings that I feel are punishable, everything from complete ooc mistells saying some stupid [REDACTED] ic, with internet shorthand. Them twinks and those players are the ones I'm bitching about. It's pretty lame when you spend about a day looking for some [REDACTED], rping not knowing where it is, getting it, then dumbfuck bumblgnome and dinglfucknut the giant twink just walk in take it, say ktnx and walk off. I see it alot. I also tend to believe that anyone that gets deffensive, is guilty of the act. :)

I would just like to see something done about it. Take all them twink giants and turn them into sprites and then all them twinked out magic gnomes and turn them into giants. Then we would have some justice and they wouldn't be able to spam up the mud with crappy but well executed group pk.

Why do you care if all your mid level equipment is junked? Just go and get some more... and I agree with Cannibal, wander round with less 'valuable' stuff and you are:

A)less of a targert.
B)can replace it easier.
C)Haven't spent half your life looking for it.

Not sure about it making me a better player yet... but any top notch stuff you get is a bonus... and like most bonuses, they don't last forever.

Why do I care? Because it's a waste of time. How is it fun to run around to all the different shops rebuying my gear because someone found my corpse and junked it all because they had no use for anything? It is lame to junk stuff that your character doesn't want that is easy to replace.

situation: you are walking through the desert and stumble on the corpse of someone who died to a naj. You look inside and see that it has some tanso stuff from nerina and rings and trinkets from various shops throughout the realms. What do you accomplish by junking this stuff?

I maintain that junking random worthless things from corpses that you stumble upon makes you lame IRL. This game allows lame people to play it though, so no punishment is necessary beyond everyone knowing you are lame.

You cannot hurt a person in SK, let alone kill them. You cannot permanently damage them, sever a limb, blind an eye, not even burn their faces so they normally would be hideously scarred for life. With magic and healing there is *NO* way to hurt a person in SK for more than a few minutes.

You can only hurt a person's equipment.

To beat a person is to disarm them, either by removing their tools, their weapons, or their armor.

People do this through junk/looting, and will continue to do it until everyone at the same time decides not to. It is cyclical, "I must do it because it's been done to me." Wash, rinse, repeat.

Posting about it in forums won't change anything. Only actively encouraging others IC to not engage in this activity will do anything. Posting in the forums is just going to get you the following responses.

QQ more n00b!

Edraining an elf multiple times can be kinda mean. That'll usually take more than a few minutes to recover from, especially if they are GM.

Now that edrain has a timer you can't actually hurt someone a lot. Especially since edrain drains a few xp only.
