Junk looting is an annoyance for most. Res sickness is an annoyance, if you die enough to make it stack something is wrong. An hour or more real time before being able to leave the river in any way, may make it more productive to slaughter all your enemies. Quite frankly if given the choice to go out and fight against another group, I would think a great deal longer and a great deal harder if I knew I had to wait for an hour to be brought back to life, kind of the same thing when you face a final strike, just no imm intervention involved. level 10 and under immune for newbs of course. No more crying over junk looting.

What you need to do is get into a time machine, go back in time to when you were a babe and your momma dropped you on your head. Proceed forthwith to catch yourself before aforementioned cranial impact then rethink this idea and understand how horrible and incredibly bad it is.

See, some of us LIKE pk. An hour in the river would mean that depending on which side is currently more active, the other side will be permenantly in the river....and the mud would be empty.

I agree. It's fine how it is. If being razzed on the logs forum, spending sometimes hours trying to recover corpses, and having to deal with SD isn't enough then maybe a character can just stay dead.

Pk is the annoying part, this idea may just punish the innocent victims. Instead place a time peanalty to the PKer giving so much of a penalty for each person killed. Maybe stop the needless random gank bys.
