Oh, pick me! PICK ME!

I forgot to mention:

Give bards instruments damnit! Give them the choice to sing or PLAY their songs. Maybe make the instruments more like D&D where they give spell affects once over a certain duration. I don't know. People will complain bards don't need more, but I think they do. They aren't played enough.

I think it's about time we let there be delf bards, too. I used to be opposed to it, but bards need another option for the dark side.

D'oh! I want a wish list too!

1. Tweak CRS.
2. Religion spells.
3. Armor sub-types.
4. Tribunal WAR system!

I really don't want: Dual Membership.

A new class and specializations for existing classes, such as a choice of one out of several abilities at GM, so every barbarian or rogue isn't exactly the same.

Don't care about dual membership or the economy.

NOT coding-gameplay related, but coding ....could you look into the tick-lag issue? It gets worse the longer the game stays up, a sign of a memory leak.

Anywho, for the in game:
0) Religious symbol scripts for cleric classes. There should never be a shortage of these classes, priests should be encouraged as much as possible, give them as much as possible for non-pk advantage appeal.
1) CRS reworking
2) Religion specific priest/hellion/paladin spells (example: hellfire for sargas, and something akin to illusionary nightmare for algorab. The spells do same damage, same saving throws, both are negative energy, but hellfire is fire-weakness nightmare is mental or paladins bolt of glory for dulrik, pillar of flame for alshain. Does the same thing, just different spells and targets different weaknesses)
3) Some change with taunt.
4) Increase animated undead saves to dispel dramatically. Holy word shouldn't kill 1/2 all the animated undead as a 1 round spell.
5) Extended descriptions for mobiles/pcs
6) Last, but not least, ability to turn off and on the [CABAL/TRIBUNAL] from who list. The current rate of turn around on cabals is very high, and people (whether or not it is legal) will use ooc knowledge of who's in a cabal against them.

Things I think are 'ok' but not that important:

1) Armor subtypes
2) Some form of tribunal war system allowing captures.

Things I think are fine as is:

Economy.
Weapons.
Wear slots.

Here is my wish list in order of priority.

1. Dual Membership (if done responsibly) - this has been discussed to death so it needs no further description

2. Epic Warfare - This is the ability for nations to war (not just fight), capture land, use resources, extend influence, etc.

3. Standard Armor system - Done right this has the ability to increase tactics, make most (if not all) weapon sub-types valuable, make class armor restriction make more sense (no more rogues in full plate mithril), among others.

4. New targeting and glancing system for groups (see below)

5. Increase the economy impact and options - this would be much higher except those above it seem more important currently.

6. New Class - Monks and Alchemists

7. Certain new skills - such as bind/drag or coat (the ability to coat a weapon with a paste made from herbs for things like poison)

8. Symbol powers - With a static pantheon it can be set up totally balanced. Then establish powerful reasons not to be in a faith like SA and symbols with powers for the non-invested.

The targeting system I mentioned was so one could simply cast XYZ 23 and the spell would hit the person in that spot. Also when one types info that person's position would be next to the HP, ME, PE.

The Viewing part is so one can glance at a person and see the formation of the group they are in, just like when you type info less the HP, ME, and PE info. After all, if a group is moving in formation that offers them some benefit it should be blatantly obvious.

Lastly, the reason I ordered them the way I did was because I feel this order will have the greatest impact on SK. As much as I would love a new class to play with, it is but a shinny trinket compared to nations actually being able to wage wars. The greatest and most lasting impact I listed first, the farther down the list the less of an impact that individual change would bring.

Just a few more, and I'll go away:

A command to quickly look in all directions i.e. look n, look s, look w, maybe call it scan?

Small incentives for players who remain unaffiliated politically or religiously. I know most people are encourage to join one, the other or both, but people who want to remain independent kinda get screwed.

A way to see the size of a player or mobile when you glance at them.

Does feeblemind have a success/failure message yet?

Adjectives for your voice type that are implemented in 'say'.

Campfires for portable mana/hp regen (though, not nearly as good as in the Inns) in the wilderness...but leaves a smoke trail/light on the map for people to identify where you are.

Militia training.

Military personel trained in the barracks of Katar have learned how to better behave themselves in a military formation. They have learned to anticipate eachother's movements in combat so that they can fight more effectively in a formation. When fighting in a phalanx with three warriors in the front, they each gain bonuses to hit, dodge, and parry blows by combining their movements with their adjastant allies.

Either that or maybe a skill or spell that adds to the AC of a citizen or Empire. Maybe Taslamar, too. Since they get a good deal of the warrior classes, the skill might be useful.
