When is the last time you saw your pastor dominating someone in a street fight?

There are several epic tales of priests taking big roles in the battlefield. I wouldn't be against priests getting dodge. It's not as though many priests will have the DEX to properly make use of it, as the standard stat set is INT/WIS and art or mana.

I would still prefer some form of damage spell, such as cause light, to aid in leveling, over dodge, though.

Priests already have damage spells that they can use to level with.

Does every little thing need to be handed to you on a silver platter?

Priests aren't even a class that have any problems, or that need any fixes to make them weaker/stronger.

Low-level priests gain XP off strength and their non-combat spells. It's fine. Of course, if you shortchange your strength in an effort to twink, you have to live with the consequences.

It's actually counter-productive for them to dodge.

LOL, explain your reasoning to that?

Otherwise I'll just call you an idiot.

I saw Darken dodge a banespirit for two rounds and not take a single hit while he was concentrating for his second control...

Wow. Ardith is a [REDACTED].

Scenario a:
Necro/sorcie fails charm.
No dodge, charmie hits you, you wimpy out then get back in the room and try again.

Scenario b:
Necro/sorcie fails charm.
You dodge charmie's attack.
You dodge charmie's attack.

*Next round*

Charmie AI kicks in...
Charmie slams into you blah blah blah, You are dead.

Probably what Ardith meant.

Also, if you dodge an attack so you don't wimpy out of the fight before you hit the NPC they'll aggro on you every time you enter the room and possibly track you if you flee.

I know with Barden I was always hoping that the NPC wouldn't miss me if I failed a charm.
