Wow. This is an awful idea. Spellcasters are already way better than the hybrids/melee chars. And you want to make it nearly impossible to save against spells that cast even faster than before. Wow.

There actually is a significant difference between 9 art and 14 art, enough of a difference to make maxing art a smart build. Also, spellcasters don't need a buff.

I take your foolish spellcaster and I raise you a 150 MR giant barb. >_<

Okay, and when my two charmed barbs rip through your one barb who can't heal and has no buffs?

Your two charmed barbs have no where near the stats of a PC barb, and the right PC barb, has no need to fear a sorx with a group of 3 pets. MR barbs heal just fine, you can quaff an OPed vial of anything(say any vial from the stores in Garazul) and get healed 15-20%

Actually, her two charmed barbs will have better stats than the PC barb, given that they'll have GS/Haste (Not to mention an extra attack each). Add armor and maybe even sanctuary to that, and you've got a recipe for death for the poor PC.

Not to mention that you can't quaff OP anything while bashed. And you will be.

The only things that MR barbs can kill are priests: Everyone else will walk all over them on account of buffs. The fact is that buffs MAKE melee characters: They're sick and nasty with them, and near useless without them.

MR barbs can easily obtain buffs, you just have to do it before you go out PKing.

Seeing a lot of claims but no proof. Until then, I just assume peso wins SK.
