Griffon bards make perfect sense. I mean if anyone knows anything about birds they know they spend a damn good portion of their time singing anyway.

My last griffon wasn't an eagle or a falcon mixed in, he was a tucan.

If I had a bard griffon he'd be a meadowlark or nightengale.

Seriously, if a centaur can be a bard so can a griffon.

Speaking of issues with dancing/singing due to low stat maximums. I think there should be one handed instruments that will 'increase' the stat so that it is more feasible for them to be able to hold or even start dancing. This wouldn't be an actual increase but one where it would be a psuedo increase for purposes of dancing, and/or holding songs. ie items that would would affect dex, int, and/or cha w/o actually raising the stat.

Or implement a playing skill that's the equivalent to dancing, but draws more heavily from other stats for their success - int, or cha - and have the instruments you can find everywhere as tools instead of just props.

But I love the thought of bard opening up for all the races. I want to play a griffbard!

Oh, and centaur/dwarf hellion/paladin too.

Variety is the spice of life!

Perhaps, it is just me, but I have a hard time accepting a race that could fly and dance at the same time. I have not played a bard so I am not so sure if you can fly and dance at the same time. If you can't then I would be fine to see other races have it.

I believe that there should not be any race/class limit. I believe that would add so much favor to Sk. D make it so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you never seen aerial dance displays? Either using machinery such as an aeroplane or a wire system? Aerial dances are not only possible, but some of the most amazing forms of dance, given their lack of restriction in "dimensions of movement."

Also, bards currently can dance when flying. Not only sprite bards, but non-winged races under magical flight. There's more argument that a race who flys naturally would be even more well-suited to dancing mid-air than one which usually makes its way by leg on land doing so.

Just because it says "dance" doesn't mean it's traditional dancing, as in measured steps on terra firma. "Continues his/her rhythmic movements" could just as easily pertain to rhythmic movements in the air as it could to steps on the ground.
