Fine, give it to paladins, shamans, or anyone, just get rid of it being a NPC only spell.

Shamans are perfectly fine as well, unless we want to trade voodoo for something useful.

Paladins, I can't comment too much on, but they seem to do fine.(not like any of them but the elves could hold another spell anyways, I would think)

Just leave it alone, it's a nice benefit to being in a tribunal or having persuade.

Muktar, what is wrong with NPC only abilities?

Do you think PCs should get access to all the things caster NPCs were given so they were a challenge to PCs when levelling? I don't think so, I can think of quite a few overpowerer spells that if PCs get them it will be totally imbalanced for everyone.

I think that NPC's should get access to all the spells players get, confusion/chaos should be removed from the game, and all players should get access to all spells that NPC's have.

Problem solved.

If it makes IC sense for them to have a special ability that PC's don't get sure. Prayer is a clerical ability, and not some special thing that you would only find it on a NPC. I consider confusion/chaos more like special abilities vs spells. So, I have no problem. Prayer on the other had has zero IC reason to be NPC only.

Muktar, because you speak especially of confusion/chaos, I see no reason why chaos is not available to PCs considering what is available and what is not at the moment(and I would certainly not consider it a special ability).

Especially from an IC point of view.

Just leave NPCs having their own spells, let them have phat scripts, let them get the ability to double bash or anything that can be used to make the AI more challenging. Because it's not much of a challenge otherwise.

And as it was said, priests as a class already have enough powers and they certainly don't need more.

Just because it's not on your list doesn't mean you don't get it. Go find a trainer.
