The only way I could see that reasonably happening is if it's a chopped off -head- of a person you've seen often or a BARE limb with some extremely detailed and identifable markings. Even the most photographic of minds would have difficulty cataloguing that. Nor is this CSI: SK.
It's nothing more than code that was made without taking poor RPmanship into account and was dealt with as should be.
A better question would be: How can you possibly consider it GOOD rp to instantly know the name a hacked off, clothed and bloody limb belongs to, simply by looking at it?
