It was my understanding that they were only suppose to walk away on ticks, not instantly. Is there an Imm on record somewhere stating otherwise?

Are you [REDACTED] kidding me? No ticks even passed, look at my mana it didn't regen after the summons. That went on four more times before I got a pet and chained 'c summon waish;o all kill waish;c charm waish'

Please tell me this is not by design!


You are in the same area where he respawns, he is simply walking back to his room.

c summon waish;follow waish;c charm waish

He never did that with my old sorc, and I know I've summoned him in that same room before.

*shrugs* If he was actually walking back to his spot instead of ninja one step poof gone then I guess thats alright.

How about this as a slight fix, have them stay for as long as the summoner is in the room with them. Then on the tick after they leave, they then leave as normal.

Actually no, but then again I am not surprised you would assume that. I am not a fan of the new system but it is what we got to work with. My suggestion was a small tweak to the current system.

The solution to the problem that this "fix" tried to solve should be the following:

1. Find those who abused summon

2. Find those who abused summoning NPCs

3. However many they may be, set the summon ability to the abusers to -1.

4. However many they may be, set the leadership ability to the abusers to -1.

5. Spread level curses to all abusers.

6. If they are stupid enough to do it again, rinse and repeat.

Problem solved with a real "fix". :devil:

You didn't "abuse" anything, your char summoned, not a NPC.
