A delf necro has the spellward and Bogs will amuse him a lot if concentrated on that spell, let aside the necro's personal armor enchantments.
A delf merc has bash, dirt and paladin, if bashed, will be able only to bog his own arse.
A delf rogue, along with the initiative can also use overpowered, Fod or petrify scrolls, ,in other words, bb; recite fod and we have a dead paladin in 3 secs if not instantly, depending also on the player behind the rogue.

So, what our friends here suggest, is that you wimp bog so paladin will be able to kill someone with his flamestrikes and sofs. Fair enough but also allow a paladin to bash, backstab, use scrolls and cast his own spellward. Just to be fair.

deep-elf is the best race for hellion imo, I stand by that

Hellions will be able to be BoG'ed, deep-elf or not, though.

This is just to remove one of the glaring weaknesses which keep people from making rogue/merc/bard deep-elves.

Color spray is already a large incentive to avoid the class (along with less than ideal stats) - those three classes do not need the disincentive of BoG to worry about.

Removing the "all deep-elves"-clause from BoG only affects rogues, mercenaries and bards, please keep that in mind. I think BoG is completely fine against hellions/priests/necros - I would like to see more deep-elves of other classes around.

Addendum: Oh yeah, and I've played a deep-elf rogue recently.

I really don't understand why delves can't be bards.

Give us delf bards. And delf buffs generally. Elves too.
