Law code is pretty much worthless, this is a well known fact.

Agreed. Blindness and Sleep should be considered violations of the law. Attempted mugging or something. Not only that but if you are mode stun and your pet is mode kill so the pet gets the kill, that should result in a Murder charge for the PC. Not only that, but if a tribunal is at War with another Kingdom any guard-npcs that are brought into that Kingdom (even if the PC using them is not an outlaw) should provoke the defending guards.

Like if Talons are at war with the MC, unwanted Talons should not be allowed to take Balacha into Tlaxcala to help them level without attention from the law NPCs. Idk if they are at war ICly or OOCly, that is just an example.

Shaman vs. necro seems to be disastrous.. the necro needs to equip their undeath with reach weapons and be quick to type 'o all hit xxx'... quicker at least than the shaman typing 'c fren xxx'. A PK-ready necro should also have a wand/stave or scroll in hand.

The law code is wimpy. With loopholes and questionable bounty NPCs..

agreed. Blindness and Sleep should be considered attempted mugging when cast.

Syn was referring to the fact that "attempted" crimes are not outlawed in the Empire. Blind and Sleep already count as offensive spells.

You aren't harming anyone by casting frenzy on them. Irritating them? Of course! There is absolutely no reason at all, other than to moan and whine, that this should be unlawful. If it does, shrinking/enlarging someone should be made unlawful. If you are caught ventriloquating, it should be illegal. Hiding and sneaking should be made illegal as well. Running around invisible should be illegal. All those things are irritating!

While we are at it, make it so if you fly over a city without permission, you are shot at by catapults for being in a no-fly zone. If you are in a city, you are arrested for not being made tripable. If you yell more than once, you are arrested for disturbing the peace.

And frenzy is resistable, you just have to use that icky, icky, unused magic resistance.

Attempted murder of a tribunal member isn't a crime if its down in your kingdom.

Frenzy is used as an aggressive action.

Law code seems to need some serious fixing.

I don't know or particularly care about the law code side of this - I'm against adding anything that makes the law code more "real" and adds more crimes, at least until bounty NPCs are removed so tribunals actually have to do crap.

But...

Isn't it harder to enlarge or shrink people unless you're grouped with them? I swear it seemed that way last time I had a sorc.

If this is so, why not make frenzy the same - add a chance to save against it when ungrouped (maybe you already do??)
