Sleep is fine. I participated heavily in getting it nerfed by making everyone bored to tears at a shaman tourney some years back

c sleep giant
c sleep/weaken/curse/slow
c 'control weather' to set up call lightning
c 'call lightning'giant

Good times.

But yea, sleep + maledictions was insanely op, especially on a shaman.

25 dex under 1/2 carrying capacity vs a slowed giant dex OVER 1/2 carrying? Also, takes 3 lightning to kill a giant, only gets one try.

Of course, this code-change came with something unintended. Artificially sleeping victims wake up before the backstab lands if a rogue intends to backstab them.

*grumble*

Sure about this?

Malediction on a sleeping victim = no go. Been there, done that.

If it's natural sleep, they don't automatically wake up. It's only magically enforced sleep that'll wake 'em.

Sleep was more fun in the golden days.

c 'charm' merc NPC
c 'haste' merc NPC
c 'enlarge' merc NPC
c 'enlarge' lance
give lance merc
order merc hold lance
c 'sleep' poor idiot
order merc backstab poor idiot

Duel backstabbing giant merc with a giant two handed lance, good times.

If you got lucky sometimes it was a tripple backstabbing.
