One thing that I know happens at the higher levels, before and after the chance, is that to explore many of the areas most rich of experience and treasure, it takes a party, and two things generally make it difficult: the number of people around who are available (not caught up in PK, or just the number of people online), and the amount of time it takes (more so than effort) to net gain (knowledge, experience, treasure, even entertainment value).

With other games, if I have 30-60 mins free, I can still get a group together of my level, find a quest or two and find enjoyment and advancement in the game. In SK, I find far more difficult. Believe me, it's not a lack of RP or motivation. But the drive diminishes to more frustration... I care more about learning the game than the levels at this point, but I'm finding it difficult.

I don't think its in game communication between players that's the problem. More scripts and hints/clues where to find adventures, and finding a means to get more players welcome, established, etc. :)

What if the feature was only available for people, say Journyman level and lower? People don't, generally speaking, engage in PK much at that level. After that level you usually have more friends from religion, from factions, from the fact that you've moved around and talked to people. But this might be just a away to help people form friends and networks and level up. Getting people up to the mid-level range is a good thing. They have skills and spells to do things with. They are more interesting characters as they have had time to develop themselves to a certain point. Just ideas, fellas.

I am going to have to say there is the 'tell' channel. I see no reason for an additional feature of this kind. Nothing prevents a character from socializing perhaps an RP'd limitation on charisma, or introverted personality. It is your choice as a player to decide to contact others/use the who list. The reason we have titles is they are hints/clues 'heard around' as to who people are.

The larger issue to me is the lack of players about at times. I have found a lot more enjoyment lately in trying to help the lower level characters up than find an adequate group to adventure with. It's not due to lack of a command though.

Perhaps it would be easier if there were lists which are like arrays, and each of them is related to a place/dungeon/leveling area. A player can sign up in each of these lists he is interested in every log on, and is automatically erased of them on log out. Perhaps they are automatically removed from the lists when they enter the area too. One can view the Looking For lists and see who else is looking for company for the areas they are interested in and talk to each other and arrange groups. Something like LFG/LFM in Wow, it's quite efficient as it is.

*shrug* I'd be likely to join just about any party asked if I'm 1) not already in a party, 2) have limited to play

As to what areas, I'd say again, any. *shrug*

It's not a feature I see as necessary to the game.

It does seem though if the majority of players think there's some kind of issue finding parties, we should be delving further in the path of figuring out what the problems actually are.

Parties are harder to find now because of familiarity. There used to be a few spots people went to and they could usually stay there for a large number of levels, so you were bound to bump into people of similar level and aura. Now people are scattered all over and spend very little time in any one place

I agree with you, but it's ironic. If they got into a party with someone who hadn't been there before, they could continue to level there.

Been there and done it. :D Great thing about meeting new characters who are less familiar with places.

People are too lazy to interact and find people. So they spend the time they can be doing that on pointless topics like this on the forums complaining about it.
