Would that be like having a warlock take all the water in said lake/river and creating a water elemental? That would be one easy way to fish, just take away the water.

Unless you have neighbors that eat textual fish, Wiccie, I suppose that probably would have meant in some strange way that you probably meant in RL, again, i dont really care so i'm not going to make a big deal out of it.

It might just be location, could also have something to do with how many people are fishing in the room(AS I SAID in my post above this one). Also, i believe you catch bigger fish past midnight- but that part was told to me by the person who won the fishing competition when they first put fishing in.

There is no helpfile because it is not a skill. It is a scripted item for the purpose of fun and rp.

You soar north.

Lake Mantouro
You find yourself floating on a beautiful blue lake. The
flllp water is calm and clear and you can see several feet into its
Ff*ff depths. Occasionally bubbles rise to the surface and cause tiny
FFFrf ripples. The lake extends several miles. A full moon hangs in
the sky. It's clear, mild, and there is absolutely no wind.

This particular fishing rod would likely suit you well for fresh-water fishing.
Find some fresh water, and CAST-ROD into the water and try your luck.
As soon as you feel a hit on the line, be sure to REEL in your catch!
You hold a long wooden fishing rod and reel in your hand.

You flip a long wooden fishing rod and reel back, and cast it with a sharp flick of the wrist.

The water current carries a lacquered bloodwood spinning rod north.
The wind begins to blow from the south.

A sharp jerk on a long wooden fishing rod and reel sends the tip of the pole downward!

You hastily lean back on a long wooden fishing rod and reel and reel in your catch!
You end up pulling out a yellow perch

lol, your point proven. Maybe it was because there were two of us? I'm not sure, but it really took forever. Or maybe it was just everclear lake and location like Diva said. Or a stream of really bad luck, no idea.

If you use the gnomish fishing device (dynamite) found in Creaftilian, you'll get a lot more fish, a lot quicker.

I am of the opinion that nothing more need be said. If fishing provides your main food supply in Shattered Kingdom, props. :)
