if a light aura can currently find their way into Midnight Council, and people are cool about it

short of sacrificing elven infants to the dark gods, there are probably ways to justify the loot

I could see the sweet irony of a Midnight Council member requesting gear from a Peacekeeper sentinel.
That it is possible really is mindblowing.

That aside - you are not allowed to sell or pass on equipment requested. It is a personal gift you recieve from the NPC, as the help file states I think.

Barbarian tries to kill bunny to eat it. Little basterd is too quick, barb gets pissed. finally gets FURIOUS and catches the little [REDACTED]. Butchers it, eats it. If there is someone out there that would get mad at this. Kill them too. Because they are [REDACTED].
