2a. After exploring most of the world and trying to unlock secrets in long forgotten places, I've found myself to a dead end far more than I expected.
Keys with no description or without use within a 100 leagues radius, ultimately locked doors giving no hints, sealed walls etc etc. This only promotes OOC use of knowledge IMO.

While LORE can already be used on keys, there is almost never information that suggests where the key belongs. The high level the bard, the more specific the location.

The Key's Lore wrote:
level 25: This key looks like many others from uxmal.
level 30: Several keys like this were made when Teron was rebuilt after the imperial invasion.
level 35: The merchants guild in Teron etched their keys with small engravings around the shaft to identify their owner.
level 40: The engraving on this key suggests it belongs to the once emperor of Teron
level 45: The Emperor had this key made to open a box which hid his most prized posession.
level 50: The bronze statue in the shape of Yigg's Battlesheep has a secret keyhole hidden under its left ear.

and something similar for "locks". If a rogue/bard examined a lock, he would get an idea if it could be picked or not, a bard could also lore it and get similar knowledge.

PS: I take no credit for the accuracy / inaccurady of the above post.

I've found it mind boggling that some things like tanso can compare better than addy or mithril armor, being that they're magical ores and such where as tanso is an incredibly durable, but common ore. To me it's mind boggling.

A tanso breastplate is going to protect you more than an addy bra. Just sayin'.

Well, I cannot reply to all of the comments but I will say this.

-These are my own observations of what makes SK less than it could of been.
eg. I know how weak cloth characters are but that doesn't mean it should be this way or that it makes gameplay more enjoyable.

-Please do not make assumptions.
eg. "Cease combat" abuse vs barbarians etc. The command doesn't have to be the same with the immortal command 'peace'.
If the barbarian stops attacking he is abusing himself, the hellion on the other hand should be able to use this at his favor. Yet attacking or not should be an option for everyone to make in any case.

Also, why is it an abuse to stun an opponent for his equipment and get what you want while leaving him alive? This kinda confused me....Yes winner saves vs unnecessary crimes and loser survives?!

-Having a clue on how to open a chest across the realms isn't that helpful nor fun.

-As far as Wastelands and treasure goes...The problem is the lack of rewarding in all other areas and that is due to the constant improvement of built areas. Maybe instead of new area addition some need to be polished without major environmental changes, or go for the explode part.

PS. My initial post is not that long, it's the spaces that make it seem so. Usually I don't mind reading long listing of things while I almost never read long justifications.

*facepalm*

Hellions can't cleave just out of combat; this would be almost useless for them. If this tactic were usable, then a hellion could just cleave, remove his weapon, wield the weapon again, and cleave. Barbarians, on the other hand, get counterstrike. Enough freaking said.

Exactly. The winner gets less crimes. That's abuse, when you consider that it's exactly the same as killing and looting, minus disorientation (laughable) and having to find a priest (more laughable). Mode stun does less damage (sort of) in order to make this tactic less viable.

1. When a barbarian decides to stop combat, he just gets hit. No extra counterstrike - No abuse

Your point of view is 100% OOC.

The discussion is about OOC mechanics.

Ok, OOCly:

Sparing someone's life for not spending time in jail, happens to me almost everyday.

There is no abuse in not killing someone for not doing the time for it.
You confuse looting with killing. Didn't looting became a crime a while back anyway?

I hadn't thought of counterstrikes, but I would be for the ability to stop attacking that didn't involve fleeing.

Remove CRS. Remove bounty NPCs. Remove final strike. Make it so you can't be voodooed twice in a row. Create some way of locating an enemy who is hiding. Permanently disband the harlequin cabal or just put me in charge of it. Add six enchants to each of my daggers. Make it so shops are open 24/7. Get rid of shovels. Get rid of having to eat/drink. Make it so you can't dispel an elemental. Buff the pets available to scouts. Nerf circle stab's damage. Allow paragons to hand out curses, with the only limitation being that they can't curse the same character twice in one month, and have to provide an explanation to an IMM for each curse they give out.

Give extra attribute points to people who rock hardcore in pk against superior numbers. Clean my room. Provide complete control of the outlaw list to tribunal leaders. Get rid of jail. Take the six points I put into art back when you could scribe charm, and put them into hp. Get rid of the negative effects of aging.
