Only two of my characters ever died in his campaigns, but my other 3 made him laugh too much and bothered the other players, so I think he fudged some of my rolls to keep things interesting.

And as for DM vs GM I don't care as long as I get to call him Master.

Seriously. I've had 3 of my D&D GMs (always went with GM because, without fail, nobody bothers to pronounce both Ms) play this game.
