And then the person sends you an ooc tell saying "You regain your footing" the round before you do, forcing you into the action anyway. :devil:

You can get around that with #CONDITION and line color.

Wasn't trying to whine. I didn't know if I was identifying an issue because there are several people on this forum that have critiqued (made fun of) spambash. I really didn't know what everyone was referring to until I experienced it. Ardith, props for being the coolest troll in sk. You win. :).

I have died in SK because of dirt kicking preventing me from getting a word vial from my container, and while there are ways around dying that way. I still think it's really uncool to die in SK and think that dirt kicking must be fixed.

I suppose it's a question of game balance.

Does the game balance better if people can be basbbashbashed into the ground, or if it's a first-come-first-serve tossup between the person trying to bash and the person trying to flee?

It used to be more of a tossup, and when it was, I think that it just encouraged the use of triggers. If it went back to that state, it would probably still encourage the use of triggers. The current state of the game only encourages use of triggers for the fleefleefleer, and lets the bashbashbasher just put a paperweight on whatever F1-12 key he bound to bash, and go get a cold beverage while the PK ensues.

The whole prone change seriously buffed bash, by giving the bashbashbasher an advantage over the fleefleefleer. However, in the interests of avoiding triggers, I really think that there are other ways to nerf bash if it needs to be nerfed.
