I think you underestimate how dangerous rogues are in group PvP, finney. Most class/faction combos do have ways of neutralizing a rogue if they are prepared and the rogue is solo, though.

In group PvP, a clothie would have to protect himself from the rogue by putting something behind him, forcing him to the second row. If a merc or barb that isn't being hit in the front row switches to reaching, that clothie is tore up. If the clothie decides to go third row, he gets to say hello to the rogue, which isn't pretty.

When it came to group PvP, I wasn't ever too worried about a rogue as Antiira unless there was also a scout/swashie or I was outnumbered pretty heavily already. Nowadays with the nerfs to sorcs it would suck though, and priests would definitely have trouble with them if you ask me.

If it weren't for scripted IG, one circle stab with an xxx vial would have dropped Antiira. With your scripted IG, a rogue using a normal dagger would probably require two circle stabs, which would have finished murdering you around the time lag wore off from your triple FoD scroll.

Though now that I think about it, stone skin is now a buff that actually is effective against rogues, so maybe they're balanced.

Man I remember when we were murdering people left and right for those vials.

I was referring to the fact that I kept up stone skin constantly when facing rogues in group PvP, which was only neutralized instantly by scouts plus rogues. I can't say exactly whether or not that would have saved me because I don't recall getting hit with a circle stab after the stone skin buff, despite rogues against me having their chances.

Ah yes, I remember that now. But, as I mentioned, that was against scout/rogue, and I think before the stone skin change. I underestimated the rogue (peso) too, thought she was a noob and didn't realize she'd go run and get cure blindness from the priest after I color sprayed her.

Man, what a whinefest on that log's comments too. I am ashame.
