This is a workable idea, it would add another utility for having wealth in the game world.

In SK besides giving 5-10 obsidians to lowbies and hear them say "Wow, thanks!" the uses are somewhat limited.

Republicans is the answer to both of those questions.

Republicans should be on board with this idea. They can jail people for ridiculous offenses like "eating mushrooms" and use the loot to fund lots of wars.

I voted No, but I can only vote once. How can you make an argument that prison is too modern and suggest bail in the same breath?

This is also a place where I should quote Inigo Montoya: "I do not think it means what you think it means." There seems to be the suggestion here that you should be able to pay money instead of serving your time. That is not how bail works. Bail is putting up money to be released from prison until the time of your trial. Assuming you appear at your trial, you will (almost always) have the money returned to you. Regardless of bail, if you are found guilty, you still have to serve your time.

Since there are no trials in the legal system of Pyrathia, the concept of bail is invalid. Therefore I will not be adding bail.
