Okay, that isn't all.

Magical flight should have a larger to hit penalty, a larger damage penalty, a strong dodge penalty. In addition, bash should knock fliers out of the air.

At the same time, those who can fly naturally should be able to start their flight mid-battle.

Griffons are giant eagle-lions that fly fowards, not humming birds(Sprite) that stay in one place. Either keep moving, fly higher in the air so you are soaring, or auto-land, -PE on takeoff. They aren't able to fly higher in forests, caves etc, so they must fly quickly or be forced to land. Warlocks use the wind/power of the air to lift them up, and they ride the wind since they can control it(kinda like Storm in X-Men). They ride the wind in the way of you have to go with it, impossible against it like a feather on the breeze(but they are in control). Sorcerors and necromancers dont fly, Gandalf didnt fly(you fools), and necromancers arent being held up by invisible flying demons. They levitate instead, feet arent touching the ground, walk on water lava etc. They shouldnt be flying around with all their friends DBZ style. Thats how I see it anyways, when I ask myself 'how is my character flying'.
